The recent Samsung Galaxy S5 takes the design of HTC One. Hasan Kaymak designed the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 concept image and posted a gallery in his Google+ account.

Kaymak previously designed concept images of HTC phones. From this influence, he designed the Samsung Galaxy S5 boasting a metal body. The latest render sports a 5.25-inch screen display. The handset also retained Samsung's physical home button but this time it is enlarged. On top of the home button is a speaker grille. At the top of the handset is another set of speakers where the usual array of sensors are seen.

The rear of the device packs a large lens camera with what seems to be a Xenon flash. The infrared emitter is kept and the TouchWiz UI has been redone by the creator of the concept.

Many fans wished that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack a metal casing and pulling away from the usual plastic body of the Samsung Galaxy S line. When Samsung released the Galaxy J in the market, Samsung fans were delighted that the company finally embraced the metal casing in its products and hoping the company will do the same for Galaxy S5.

However, a new report from DigiTimes said Samsung may ditch its plans of packing metal cases for the Galaxy S5. Its sources went on saying that Samsung may not go with metal casing for Galaxy S5 as metal components will increase the production cost and the price of the device. The report added instead of metal, Samsung is more likely to use plastic combined with carbon fiber or fiberglass for its smartphone chassis.

Previously, reports claimed Samsung is already working on qHD screen displays with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution and an iris scanner for its upcoming devices. This hinted that it may arrive to Samsung Galaxy S5. The report added Samsung is toying with Tizen OS making the Galaxy S5 the first flagship phone to pack OS and ditch the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS although many Samsung fans are hoping to see this feature in the S5.

Samsung Galaxy S5 release date is set either at the Consumer Electronics Show in January or at the Mobile World Congress in February 2014.
