New trailer details pre-order bonus for 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate'
Ubisoft’s “Assassin’s Creed” series is known to take pages from history books through the use of real people and events in several series’ entries. “Assassin’s Creed II” brought gamers to the renaissance era wherein they are aided by Leonardo Da Vinci. While “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag,” saw player fighting side by side with notorious pirate, Blackbeard. It seems Ubisoft won’t shy away with historical figures as it revealed that two prominent minds will be playing a role in the upcoming “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.”
The developer of the stealth game revealed that Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens can be a part of the new “Assassin’s Creed” entry as they are part of a pre-order bonus. Aside from making an appearance, the two will give players a few missions to undertake.
As seen from the trailer below, the two prominent figures have gotten mixed up with a conspiracy that placed their lives in danger. As the player, it is their duty to sort things out. Aside from the extra missions, Ubisoft has not given any details regarding whether or not the two will appear outside the pre-order content and into the main storyline.
Charles Dickens is a famous novelist from the Victorian Era. His works include classics such as “A Christmas Carol” and “Oliver’s Twist.” On the other hand, Charles Darwin is a well-known Naturalist whose most notable contribution to the field of evolution is in line with Natural Selection. Ubisoft remained quiet on how much these two’s history will play part in the story so players will have to wait till launch to see how they partake in the “Assassin’s Creed” universe.
Still recovering from the failed launch of “Assasin’s Creed Unity,” Ubisoft knows that some players may be hesitant on pre-ordering the game. With that in mind, IGN reports that the pre-order bonuses can still be as it will be converted into a DLC pack.
