Newly Single Hilary Duff Is Crushing On 'Sons Of Anarchy' Charlie Hunnam, Actress Opens Up On Her View About Marriage
Looking fabulous on her recent cover photo, newly single Hilary Duff is the face of Cosmopolitan’s April 2015 issue. The former Disney star, who filed for divorce from hockey player Mike Comrie, revealed during an interview her view of marriage and her latest showbiz crush, “Sons of Anarchy” hunk Charlie Hunnam.
“I don't want to sound bitter because I'm definitely not, but I don't know if people are meant to be together forever,” Duff told Cosmopolitan. “Things happen over a long relationship that you can't always fight. A marriage of 20 years, the accomplishment of that must feel really great, but there are also huge sacrifices.”
She also opened up about working since she was 11 or 12 and getting married for such a young age seemed right for her during that time. Although she spent the majority of her marriage being happy, the “Younger” star admitted that it “wasn’t working well enough” for them to stay together.
She also commented on Aaron Carter’s recent declaration of love on Twitter and how she finds it ridiculous that he is reaching out through social media. The estranged couple dated way back in 2001 when Duff was a new star in Disney’s “Lizzie McGuire." The two garnered major media attention and continued an on-and-off relationship for three years.
When asked about her new Hollywood crush, the mother of one revealed she is crushing Charlie Hunnam. The British actor bailed out on playing Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades of Grey” and is dating jewellery designer Morgana McNelis since 2007.
Duff is currently promoting her latest TV gig, “Younger,” a comedy-drama series based on Pamela Redmond Satran novel of the same name. The show follows a 40-year-old recently divorced mother looking for a job and trying to get back on track after a failed marriage. The show also stars Sutton Foster as the lead role with Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor.
The actress is also working with her new album and recently released her sexy single “All About You.” Duff confessed she wrote the song for a reason and really enjoyed herself while writing it.
