The market continues to wait Google's release of the Nexus 10 2. A promising update tells people that the refreshed Google Nexus 10 line may be around the corner. Reports suggest that Google Play Store has run out of stock for the Nexus 1 0 16GB model while the 32GB model is running low. Stocks running low without a hint or restocking can only mean a new set of products coming. Is Google finally releasing the Nexus 10 2?

According to a report by Phone Arena, Google Play Store listed the 16GB Nexus as "Not Available." There was also a suggestion saying 'please check back soon'. Nonetheless, people can still find the 32GB Nexus tablet from the listing.

The news has also been coupled with images of the Nexus 10 2 surfacing. According to the same website, an anonymous tipster sent them images of what the next Nexus 10 slate will look like. Google has not confirmed anything but the leaked photos may also be worth the look.

The leaked render of the upcoming slate showed an overhauled Nexus 10. As the name implies, the device will still sport a 10-inch display. The leaked image also revealed the front panel of the slate. So far, there are no indications whether it comes with physical buttons.

People can still find the standard three onscreen keys for home, back and recent apps control. They are under the screen. The home screen additionally revealed app icons for Google Maps, YouTube, Chrome, Gmail, camera and messages.

There was also a hint about a front camera. However, the leaked render did not indicate what the rear panel of the tablet will look like. There are also no indications on other specifications for the upcoming Nexus 10 2.

The first generation Nexus 10 came from Asus. Nonetheless, the successes of the first and second generation Nexus 7 made Asus a subject of talk. Google may do better sticking to Asus to release it products. The company has proven expertise and track record for Google's slates.

The Nexus 10 2 will reportedly come with Android 4.4 KitKat. The official Twitter account of KitKat confirmed that the Android 4.4 update is just around the corner. The same can be true for the device.
