Nexus 10 2 Release Date Rumours Continues: 2014 Launch Date?
Rumours about the Google Nexus 10 2 has been all over the Internet for quite some time already. In fact, it was rumoured to come on Black Friday but it never did, leaving eagerly waiting fans extremely disappointed. As of the moment, there are no official reports about it yet but it was reported that the release date of the much anticipated Google Nexus 10 2 will be pushed to 2014.
Google is known for subtle launch dates of its devices, similar to the Nexus 5 back on Oct. 31. As a matter of fact, at that time, rumours flooded the Internet first without official confirmation from the tech giant about its release until it appeared on the Google Play store. It is likely that Google would do the same with the Nexus 10 2.
Similar to other Google Nexus devices, the Nexus 10 2 is expected to have the latest version of the Android 4.4 KitKat OS when it is launched. One advantage of having Nexus devices is that for sure, you are first to have the latest Android OS and its updates no matter what.
Truth is, Google has neither confirmed the launch date nor the existence of the Nexus 10 2 tablet. The rumours are solely based on the fact that Google needs to with Apple's current flagship tablet, the iPad Air.
With Christmas just a few days away, it is pretty unlikely that the device will be launched beforehand. If the rumours are to be believed, the release date will be likely on 2014, that is if the Google Nexus 10 2 will ever hit the shelves.
On the other hand, Google is rumoured to stick with 8 inches tablets because smaller tablets run better on the Android OS compared to bigger tablets. Well, for the Nexus 10 2, there's nothing certain for now and although its release is the probable next move for Google, rumours say that it will be 2014 by time it will hit the shelves.
Coincidentally, the LG G Pad 8.3 inches Google Play Edition was launched in Google Play earlier today.
