Google Nexus 4 recently returned on the market but supply of the smart phone only lasted for hours once again. In Australia, Google is reportedly taking in orders with the rapid selling out of the Nexus 4 for the second time around.

Google has not shed light on the current Nexus 4 supply level which makes it difficult to determine how long the smart phones will be available for purchase. However, the company claims they could already meet the high demand of Nexus 4 based on the supply issues encountered in the past.

Consumers can still get hold of the Nexus 4 8GB and 16GB versions but Google has reportedly enlisted the smart phones in the 2 - 3 weeks shipping time waiting period. The Nexus 4 16GB version became exclusively available at the Harvey Norman retail stores for a price of $496 but most Australian stores have now already declared the disappointing "out of stock" news.

According to the Australian Android blog Ausdroid, the additional Nexus 4 supply is scheduled to arrive at the Harvey Norman retail stores on the first week of March. The Nexus 4 outright price at Harvey Norman is $97 more expensive compared to the Google Play Store but Google offers a shipping charge worth $19.99. Moreover, some of the Harvey Norman retail stores offer the Google Nexus 4 on a variety of Optus post-paid mobile plans starting at $35 per month over 24 months and ranges up to $130 per month.

Nexus 4 supply somehow recovered with its return in the past week at the Google Play Stores in the United States, United Kingdom and other countries. However, Google is still struggling with the recurring supply issues on the Nexus 4 since its worldwide launch last November 2012.
