Google finally announces sale of Nexus 5 smartphone running Android 4.4 KitKat. Get the new Nexus 5 starting at $349 with 20 exclusive features for faster performance, new functionality and better multi-tasking power.

Nexus 5 takes place of the LG Nexus 4 spotlight at the Google Play Store for $349 with improved performance, better touch response, enhanced multi-tasking, new applications, new features and new camera functionalities.

Nexus 5 starts at $349 for AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint as of now, Verizon is still out of the equation but hopefully they can get supplies for their customers. Nexus 5 comes with the following technical specifications:

Google will be releasing two models of Nexus 5 - one for North America and European regions while the second goes to Asian territories. Both variants will come in 16GB and 32GB models for storage capacity options which cost $349 and $399 respectively.

Expect Best Buy and Radio Shack to sell the device online aside from Google Play Store and direct purchase available from Sprint in November 8 starting at $150. T-Mobile will have Nexus 5 on sale before the holidays but as of now, no specifics regarding price or exact release date.
