The entire "Vampire Diaries" cast members and crew are currently working hard in filming the new episodes and promoting the TV series' upcoming Season 5. Actress Nina Dobrev teases the TVD fans with her stunning "Vampire Diaries" promo photo in addition to Ian Somerhalder's serious-looking promo image.

Nina Dobrev can be seen in the leaked image posing in front of the camera as her "Vampire Diaries" character Elena Gilbert with the familiar red wall used in Ian Somerhalder's promo photo as background. The 24-year-old brunette beauty showed off as well her sexy figure in a simple black dress while looking up at the lightings.

Viewers will certainly be hooked with "Vampire Diaries" Season 5 now that Elena chose Damon over Stefan and the new couple can be seen expressing their love for each other in the recently released promo video. However, Ms Dobrev still gives hope to the TVD fans rooting for the Stefan-Elena relationship.

The recap on Season 4 finale has character Stefan Salvatore, portrayed by actor Paul Wesley, discovering that he has a doppelganger in the form of evil character Silas. Stefan got trapped at the bottom of a lake while Silas took on his identity and use it for an evil plan. Elena Gilbert may be with Damon Salvatore now but she still shares a certain connection with Stefan after spending so much time with him in the past.

"I don't know if that will go away. She has this weird feeling something is going on," Nina Dobrev revealed to TV Guide. The actress further hinted that Stefan will survive from the underwater trap soon.

"And when she finds out what he's been through, it's not easy for her," Ms Dobrev added. Will this turn of events in "Vampire Diaries" Season 5 make Elena run back to Stefan's arms or still choose Damon?

The burning questions of viewers about the upcoming new season will be answered when "Vampire Diaries" Season 5 episodes start airing on October 3 at the CW television network with the interesting Episode 1 title "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
