Nina Dobrev: 'Vampire Diaries' Actress Shares Selfie Image Of Her New Look On Twitter
"Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev shared to her millions of followers on Twitter a selfie image of her new look. The 25-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian actress did not chop off her hair but she showed off the stunning new colour of her eyes.
"Sunday #selfie. Want the look? Follow @airoptixcolors #LiveInColor #spon," the TVD actress posted on her Twitter account @ninadobrev as a caption to the shared image. Fans can notice that Nina Dobrev has blue eyes instead of her natural brown eyes as she looked intently at the camera to have her picture taken. Click HERE to see photo.
According to a Wet Paint report, Nina Dobrev joked about having a different eye colour by wearing contacts during an interview with Bellasugar last May so she could be in disguise while going out on a date. "I can trick people when I go on dates. Maybe I can use it as a way to meet new people and not get recognized," the actress stated.
Unfortunately, fans will not be seeing Nina Dobrev sporting the new eye colour in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 unless her character, Elena Gilbert, also decided to change her look. The fans can recall that Elena changed her hairstyle in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 4 when her humanity was still turned off due to Jeremy's (Steven R. McQueen) death.
Meanwhile, numerous reports are claiming that things are currently awkward between Nina Dobrev and ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) on the set of the CW TV series. According to a Hollywood Take report, the 35-year-old actor's relationship with "Twilight" actress and Nina's friend, Nikki Reed, appears to be the reason for the tension between the "Vampire Diaries" stars who portrays on-screen couple Damon and Elena.
Unnamed insiders claimed in the report that the Ian-Nikki relationship became an "awkward situation" on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. However, an anonymous source revealed that Nina Dobrev is currently enjoying her single life despite the reported tension between her and co-star Ian Somerhalder as well as the numerous men linked to her.
