No Evasi0n Jailbreak 6.1.3, Try SafeRa1n iPhone 5 iOS Untethered 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 Jailbreak?
Evasi0n jailbreak 6.1.3 is still a dream for many iPhone users who trust the Evad3rs group when it comes to free and secure jailbreak tool. The iDevice hackers, however, have been consistent in saying their group will wait for the next Apple iOS update before coming up with a new jailbreak. Should users try other jailbreak providers?
KnowYourMobile.com recently featured Team Unlock's iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 jailbreak tools. This service, however, is not free. It costs $24.99 on the Unlock iPhone website. That it comes with a price is already questionable. Legit jailbreakers typically offer to jailbreak Apple users for free. Many users of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are more likely to wait for the free iOS 7 jailbreak from evasi0n.
Aside from Team Unlock, another group by the name of SafeRa1n is offering a paid jailbreak. At least one Twitter user has confirmed the SafeRa1n 6.1.4/6.1.3 jailbreak is "effective." However, there are no reply tweets (comments) supporting his claims yet.
Jailbroken users are able to customize their Apple devices and install applications not vetted by the iPhone maker. However, a month before the iOS 6.1.3 was released, the evad3rs have determined their group's exploits will no longer work. They can, however, create a new tool from scratch albeit it will take some time.
"We are not working on a 6.1.3 jailbreak that would be too much efforts (sic) for a minimal update. We're waiting for a major release," Evad3r Pod2g previously explained on Twitter.
"We'll probably wait until the next major release," David Wang (planetbeing), one of the evad3rs, has earlier told Forbes.
To date, the petition for an evasi0n 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 jailbreak on change.org has gathered over 2,300 signatures. Petitioners have been echoing the same sentiment: 'Please evad3rs, free us because we accidentally updated to iOS 6.1.3.'
The iOS 6.1.4 update was released exclusively for iPhone 5. It is meant to fix a bug with the speaker. However, some users who installed the update are complaining of worse problems, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues.
