EA has heard the voice of the masses and has now moved on to abolishing the Online Pass, staring with a run on the Xbox Live.

So for the weeks ahead, expect updates that will sync with EA's Online Pass plans. The changes will first be seen with EA Sports titles, followed by other titles until eventually, the Online Passes will all be available online for free, according to VG 24/7.

"As we discontinue Online Pass for our new EA titles, we are also in the process of eliminating it from all existing EA titles as well," said an EA spokesperson in a statement quoted by VG 24/7. "We heard the feedback from players and decided to do away with Online Pass altogether."

The games that have already been in part of the EA Online Pass abolishment scheme includes Battlefield Bad Company 2's VIP Pass, Medal of Honor Online Pass, Shift 2 Unleashed Online Pass, Skate 3's Skate Share Pack, Bulletstorm Online Pass, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Online Pass.

Most notably, for those who already have a copy of America McGee's Alice, Alice: Madness Returns will now be available for free.

Enter the jungle once more, this time in multiplayer mode as Crysis 3's DLC hits the stores starting next week.

Polygon reports that the DLC will have four new map--Coastline, Creek, Ascent, and Crossing--will all be on the west Pacific. The center point of the maps is the Philippines, where alien races have been found in an island just miles from Ling Shan islands.

Also included in the pack are two multiplayer modes, Possession and Frenzy.

"By transporting players out of the Liberty Dome and into the Lost Island setting, we're not only returning to Crysis' spiritual roots, but also introducing fresh ways to play that provide Crysis fans with genuinely game-changing new tactical options, game modes and weapons," said Cevat Yerli, Crytek CEO, in a statement as quoted by Polygon.

The Lost Island DLC will be available starting June 4 on the Windows PC and PlayStation Network for $14.99 and the XBLM for 1,200 Microsoft Points.

DC Universe Online, PSO 2 coming to Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia is finally on publisher Asiasoft's map as it plans to release DC Universe Online on the PC and Phantasy Star Online 2.

According to GameSpot, for DC Universe Online, this comes two years after it was released in 2011 for the PC and PS3 and became a free-to-play game in November of that year.

PSO 2, on the other hand, has been slated for a 2013 release but has still been delayed by Sega.

No date for the release has yet been announced, but you can expect Asiasoft's other games to tap the Southeast Asian market starting this year.
