Nokia 3310 (2017) vs Galaxy S7 camera comparison: Samsung ends up surprised as a 2MP primary snapper produces exciting shots
Nokia 3310 2017 smartphone is now a rage and tech experts are comparing it to a lot of top mobile phones, some already released and some yet-to-be. Here, the 3310’s camera has been compared to Samsung Galaxy S7’s, one of the best smartphones in the market today. It may look that the comparison is illogical and unnecessary and Galaxy S7 has some of the best features and specs. Still, the Nokia 3310 2017 has a few surprised up its sleeves. For example, the Nokia handset has a 2MP primary camera and no secondary camera.
This may seem like a turn-off for many. However, one will be surprised at the quality of images the Nokia 3310 2017 camera produces. PhoneArena used cameras of both Galaxy S7 and Nokia 3310 and took shots of same situations. As per them, the Samsung handset was able to capture slightly more detail than the Nokia 3310 2017. However, the latter produced more natural and realistic colours. Some of the shots produced by the Samsung flagship looked dark compared to the Nokia’s bright and vibrant shots.
The two smartphones were also used capture the Nokia logo in warm lighting conditions. There too the Nokia 3310 2017 produced a better image than the Galaxy S7. While taking shots of food (croissants to be precise), the Galaxy handset were able to produce sharper shots than the Nokia 3310. However, the latter won the round because of a better Yummy Index, which is something, that known food photographers believe is the single-most important thing in food photography. A food photograph must fuel the desire to gorge on the food item.
While, many experts will disagree on the fact that Nokia 3310 2017 took better shots in same situations than the Samsung Galaxy S7, the takeaway is that the Nokia handset is capable of producing some excellent photos, sometimes better than the Galaxy S7 flagship. According to Gadgets 360, the Nokia phone comes with a 2.40-inch display with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. It has 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It packs a 1,200 mAh removable battery.
Most are already aware of the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs. It is undoubtedly one of the most-advanced handsets in the market currently. While, the handsets beats the Nokia 3310 hand-down in every department, one thing should be kept in mind is that the Nokia 3310 2017 is not a smartphone, according to today’s standards. Nokia nostalgia is a thing and fans are lapping up the device since it was released in February.
