Nokia Android phone update: China, a strategically important market for Nokia 6; More Android phones in other regions soon
The world seems to be waiting for the Nokia Android phones. HMD Global already unveiled a Nokia Android phone 2017, Nokia 6, at the CES 2017 and it will be made available only in China in the coming weeks through JD.com. More Nokia Android phones are to be released in 2017 in other regions of the world. They will reportedly be revealed at MWC 2017 at the end of February.
According to PC Advisor, the Nokia Android phone 2017, Nokia 6, is merely a taster and its launch in China is a step forward to meet the real world needs on consumers in various markets across the globe. China is a strategically important market as smartphone users in China is expected to reach more than 593 million by 2017. Fans in other parts of the world are hoping that it will be possible to import the phone.
However, if it is at all possible, consumers will have to pay a higher price for the handset, which is currently priced at ¥1,699 (AU$310 approx). Those who are unaware of the Nokia Android phone 2017, Nokia 6 specs, it is a unibody Android Nougat smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD laminated in-cell display and 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor and Adreno 505 GPU.
This Nokia Android phone has an internal storage capacity of 64GB and is also powered by a 4GB RAM and 3,000 mAh battery. It has an 8MP selfie camera and 16Mp, f/2.0 primary camera with phase-detection autofocus. A lot is being said about the phone’s multimedia functionality as its dual amplifiers provide a 6dB louder sound than a regular amp with deeper bass and higher voice. The Dolby Atmos creates powerful and moving audio.
