The unveiled Nokia Lumia 1020 became the most sought after device at AT&T. However, the U.S. carrier was not able to meet the demand, and they are now telling subscribers that the latest Nokia smartphone is already out of stock and backordered.

WMPowerUser got hold of the AT&T notice from an anonymous subscriber. The sent notice stated that the subscriber's placed order cannot be completed and shipment will be done as soon as the Nokia Lumia 1020 is available.

The AT&T notice further declared: "If your order remains out of stock or backordered for 30 days, your order will be automatically cancelled." AT&T offers the Nokia Lumia 1020 with a price of $299.99 on a two-year contract, while the smartphone deal with no device subsidy is worth $659 before taxes.

On the other hand, a new colour choice could be arriving soon after the anonymous reliable source @evleaks leaked a press release image of the Nokia Lumia 1020, sporting a red casing with the AT&T logo. The other available colour options for the recently unveiled Nokia Lumia 1020 are yellow, white and black.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is the first Windows Phone handset to come with the full assortment of the Finnish company's impressive PureView camera technology, including the 41MP camera and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature. Additionally, the latest Nokia device boasts of a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and the Nokia Amber update as well as the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update on AT&T.
