A Nokia Lumia 1020 Smartphone Is Displayed During The 2014 Computex Exhibition

The Nokia Lumia 1525 is reportedly teaming up with T-Mobile to be its mobile phone carrier. According to @evleaks this will happen soon, but as of this writing, there is no definite date mentioned yet. Of course once it is announced, the T-Mobile pricing plan for the Nokia Lumia 1525 will also be revealed. Aside from T-Mobile, the Nokia Lumia 1525 will also be carried by Verizon and AT&T.

Various reports have mentioned the specifications (specs) of the Nokia Lumia 1525. @evleaks has reported that this phablet (phone and tablet in one) will have a Windows Phone 8.1-powered 1520 with Snapdragon 801 while Phone Arena says that the Lumia 1525 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 system chip, a 6" touchscreen panel with 1440 x 2560 pixels, a 25 or 30 megapixel camera located at the back and a solar charging display panel.

The Nokia Lumia 1525 is also said to be equipped with a 3400 mAh capacity battery, Quad core, Krait 450 processor, Adreno 420 (2160p) Graphics processor, 3072 MB RAM system memory, 32 GB built-in storage and a miniSD expansion storage.

It is an upgraded version of the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet, that's why they have similar specs. Both phones reportedly have 2K screen resolutions and hardware specs. The difference between the two Nokia Lumia Windows phones is that the Nokia Lumia 1520 only has a 20 megapixel camera, whereas the Nokia Lumia 1525 could have a 25 or 30 megapixel camera! Plus, the Nokia 1520 has a 1920 x 1080 full HD display resolution and the Nokia Lumia 1525 could possibly have a display with 1440 x 2560 pixels!

The exciting feature that may be part of the Nokia 1525 is the solar panel. With today's growing concern for the environment, including increasing demand for solar powered gadgets, it is certainly a huge advantage for Nokia and Windows if this will actually be a part of their newest phablet. This will set them apart from their competition including other popular smartphones or tablets from Samsung or Apple's Ipad and Iphones.
