Nokia Lumia 2520: 'Sirius' Tablet Images Leaked Online, Verizon Arrival Set in mid-November? [PHOTOS]
Notable mobile device source @evleaks has shared on social networking site Twitter more images of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 2520 "Sirius" tablet in its available colour choices. The latest reports on the upcoming Finnish device suggest as well that the Verizon arrival is set in mid-November.
The previous images on the Nokia Lumia 2520 surfaced on the Internet back in mid-August. The Weibo account teased the waiting Nokia fans with the rear side of the "Sirius" tablet boasting with the Windows RT and Verizon branding.
Nokia decided to keep the familiar design and feel of a polycarbonate body in the upcoming Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet as well as its colourful signature in the available colour choices of black, white, red and cyan. As for the pricing scheme, the "Sirius" tablet is reportedly set at $499 when it goes on sale at Verizon on November 17 or 18.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 is expected to have a 10.1-inch Full HD screen with 1920x1080p IPS display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 6.7MP rear-facing camera with the Carl Zeiss optics, 2MP front-facing camera, 10-hour battery life, LTE radio for Verizon's 4G network and 32GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded. An additional feature included is the Nokia software called "StoryTeller."
Amidst all of the reports circulating on the Nokia Lumia 2520, the Finnish smartphone manufacturer has not given any comment yet to confirm or deny if they will be unveiling the new Nokia devices soon. The company is expected to officially announce the new Nokia tablet at the scheduled Nokia World event on Tuesday, October 22, in Abu Dhabi.
There are other Nokia devices expected to be unveiled along the Nokia tablet such as the Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone phablet, the Nokia Lumia 525 "Glee" smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 929 and a couple of Nokia Asha devices. Nokia's fast approaching event has caused the increase on device enthusiasts' excitement and numerous reports or leaks on the upcoming Nokia devices features, specs, design, pricing and release dates.
