Nokia Lumia 520 Wins Global Award For Best 'Low-Cost' Smartphone
Nokia may not be the most popular phone brand in the market with iPhone's and Samsung's continuous battle on top of the most bought list. But this time, Nokia steals the spotlight by snatching an award as the best low-cost smartphone at the 2014 Global Mobile Awards for Nokia Lumia 520.
In the Global Mobile Awards 2014 Web site, judges said Nokia Lumia 520 is "A smartphone that hasn't compromised on quality - a trailblazer for Nokia's low-cost efforts."
There are many categories with other popular phone brands winning an award like Nokia Lumia 520 which made a headline after winning in a category with the buying public. The handset has been also noted for being a best-selling Windows Phone, according to WinBeta.
The news of the award made positive remarks from the phone users who are not planning to upgrade yet.
