Motorola Moto G was released in the last quarter of 2013. The handset packs amazing features, impressive performance and priced competitively. On the other hand, Nokia Lumia 630 which was recently released in India is expected to be launched in Australia on May 27, 2014.

Display

The Lumia 630 and the Moto G are almost of the same size. The Moto G has a 4.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. The Nokia Lumia 630, on the other hand, comes with the same 4.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen but the difference comes in the form of screen resolution. The display of Lumia 630 has a much lesser 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The Lumia 630 is capable of supporting up to 218 ppi of pixel density which is much lower than the 326 ppi of Moto G.

The thickness and the weight of Moto G are 0.46 inches and 143 g respectively, whereas the Lumia 630 is 0.36 inches thick and weighs 134 g. Even though the Moto G is quite bulky, the curved design makes it easier to hold when compared to the rectangular design of Lumia 630. In addition, both the handsets feature removable back panels.

Hardware and Software

Both Moto G and Lumia 630 are powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, clocked at 1.2 GHz. However, the Moto G houses a 1 GB of RAM when compared to the 512 MB of Lumia 630.

The Moto G houses a non-removable Li-Ion 2070 mAh battery unit while the Lumia 630 houses an 1830 mAh user-replaceable battery unit.
