Nokia Lumia 920 Attacks iPhone 5’s Design; Is Color Really that Important? [VIDEO]
Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia attacked its rival Apple in its latest ad. The ad focuses on the design and colors offered by Nokia Lumia 920.
In a new German video, Nokia urges buyers to trade the black and white of the iPhone 5 for the bright hues of the Lumia line, as a fresh-faced rebel enlivens a joyless midnight launch by requesting his phone in yellow.
The animated ad of Nokia depicted the midnight launch of iPhone 5 being a colorless event. Until one customer ask for a different color of the device. iPhone was known for its staple business colors of black and white that have an appeal to professionals.
Nokia Lumia 920, on the other hand, offers a wide array of colors that matches the personality of the person. However, the main question remains, if the color of the device is of vital importance more than its features and specs.
Apple unveiled its latest smartphone in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts, and has the entire tech world watching to see the next generation iPhone. Some of its amazing features are 4G/LTE connectivity, 4-inch screen display and new operating system.
Nokia Lumia 920 was introduced early September that boasted its specs and features, including PureMotion HD+ 4.5 inch display (1280 x 768 resolution), Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, NFC chip, 2,000mAh battery, and Qi wireless charging. Nokia is touting the Lumia 920′s premier feature as its new camera lens.
Nokia is not first to mock Apple's iPhone 5. Samsung also insulted the release of iPhone 5 last September 21. The South Korea-based released an ad over the weekend with the headline "It doesn't take a genius" that aimed to show why the Samsung Galaxy S3 was better than the iPhone 5.
The ads caused some degree of controversy as Apple fans took to the internet to voice their anger and displeasure. However, this does not stopped Samsung from releasing another blow to the Apple's flagship phone.
Samsung took an aggressive route and this time it is aimed at Apple and its fans. In Samsung's new video, Samsung showed shots of the long lines forming around the country in anticipation of the new iPhone 5.
