The Nokia Lumia 920 was recently spotted on a YouTube video post that shows the smartphone running on the beta version of the Windows Phone 8.1 or the codenamed Windows Blue update. The low-quality video shows new interactive live tiles and notification center but viewers and Nokia enthusiasts were quick to detect the authenticity of the video.

The YouTube video titled "wp8.1 on lumia920" can be viewed on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=3KIgTViWI5I the viewers' comments were divided with some claiming that the leakage was a fake while the others were impressed and believe it is real.

The sources from tech Web site WPCentral claims that the 12-second leaked YouTube video fo the Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system is a fake. The Web site report reads: "Our source(s) tells us that indeed, this is fake. We won't go into details but our source(s) is very confident that this is not real."

In early June, a consumer acquired the Nokia Lumia 920 at online retailer eBay and found out that the Finnish smart phone was incorporated with an early on test build of the new Windows Phone update. Even though Microsoft reportedly retrieved the smartphone, the owner had already shared screen shots of the smartphone that shows the new calendar design, notification center and the capability to go through apps, depending on how often the device is used.

The Windows Phone 8.1 update or Windows Blue is considered to be the milestone update for the Microsoft platform. It has been previously reported that Microsoft is expected to release the Windows Phone 8.1 update in Q1 of 2014 after the 2013 GDR3 holiday.

Existing Windows Phone 8 handsets can upgrade to the Windows Phone 8.1 update. Once the mobile OS officially arrives in the market, Windows Phone 8 device users will be given the WP 8.1 version as a free system upgrade through the Windows Update service.
