HTC recently announced the upgraded version of its smartphone HTC One X that will hit the tech market later this year. The new HTC One X+ updated and added some of the features of its predecessor.

HTC boasts the amazing features of the new HTC One X+ including the faster 1.7GHz Tegra 3 CPU, larger 2,100mAh battery, expanded 64GB of storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ onboard.

However, the Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia also introduced its prime smartphone in the market early this September. Nokia showed off its Lumia 920 powered by the new Windows Phone 8 operating system.

Some of the smartphone's specs and features include PureMotion HD+ 4.5 inch display (1280 x 768 resolution), Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, NFC chip, 2,000mAh battery, and Qi wireless charging. Nokia is touting the Lumia 920′s premier feature as its new camera lens.

Although the features of the Nokia Lumia 920 are very impressive, will it stand a chance against HTC's smartphone. Below is the comparison between HTC's handset and Nokia's flagship phone.

Screen Display - HTC One X+ offers a 4.7 inch S-LCD2 display and Nokia Lumia 920 sports a 4.5-inch screen display. HTC claimed that their device is perfect for outdoor viewing which is countered by Nokia's colorful tiles.

Winner: HTC One X+

Processor - The HTC One X+ has a chip upgrade from its predecessor and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core chip with 1GB of RAM. Nokia Lumia 920, on the other hand, has a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor.

Winner: HTC One X+

Operating System - Nokia Lumia 920 is running with Windows Phone 8, which is also a new version of the company's mobile software and promises greater experience. However, the new HTC One X+ comes with the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean.

Camera - Both devices have 8 megapixels rear camera. However, Nokia Lumia 920 boasts PureView camera that can capture sharp and vivid images.

Battery - HTC One X+ sports a 2100 mAh battery that promises longer battery life, which is slightly higher than Nokia Lumia 920's 2000 mAh battery. However, Nokia is equipped with wireless charging feature that allows user to enjoy longer use of the device.

Based from the aforementioned features narrated above, it is a draw between the two smartphones. Thus, it all boils down to the features and specs that each device had as well as the preference of the consumer. Nokia Lumia 920 is rumored to hit the shelves later this month, on October 21. The HTC One X+, on the other hand, will hit Europe and Northern Asia this October, and in South Asia by November.
