Availability of the Nokia Lumia 925 has initiated the arrival of the Wireless Charging Shell for the smartphone. The Nokia Lumia 925 Windows Phone 8 handset comes with the built-in wireless charging feature, but the Wireless Charging Shell CC-3065 will complete the connection of the smartphone to the charging plate in order to function properly.

Similar to the entire Nokia Lumia wireless charging items, the Nokia Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell CC-3065 utilises the Qi standard. It means the charging device can be used on third-party chargers aside from the Nokia DT-900 charging plate and Nokia DT-910 charging stand.

Nokia Lumia 925 has a different wireless charging design that is sleek and slim compared to the Nokia Lumia 920. Three dots are on the back of the Nokia Lumia 925 serving as the connectors that require a charging jacket to attach with the charging plate.

Consumers can choose from the available colors of the Nokia Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell such as black, white, yellow and red. Dealers that currently offer the CC-3065 Wireless Charging Shell are Mobile Fun, Expansys, Amazon and O2.

At Mobile Fun and Expansys, the Wireless Charging Shell is available in white, black and red colours for £24.99 (US$38) each, VAT included. Expansys is expected to offer the yellow colour option soon.

Amazon offers the Nokia Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell CC-3065 in all four colours. The selling prices vary but they start at £22.60 (US$34) including taxes. O2 offers the charging jacket only in white option for £24.99 (US$38) VAT included.

Additionally, O2 will give away a free charging plate with the Nokia Lumia 925, but it depends on the carrier that the consumer goes for. The choice will be between the Nokia DT-900 Wireless Charging Plate and the Nokia DT-910 Wireless Charging Stand in any colour choice of the Nokia Lumia Wireless Charging Shell.
