Details on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom release date recently surfaced on the Internet, indicating that the device's availability will begin on July 8 at UK retailer Clove. The new Galaxy S4 variant is reportedly available for pre-order at Clove with a price of £442.80 (US$674), including taxes.

The online retailer store has confirmed that they will have the initial supply of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom on the second week of July. It is expected that shipping will follow shortly after the smartphone's July 8 release date.

The U.S. release date of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will reportedly occur in Q3 2013. No confirmation has been made as well regarding the available plans on U.S. carriers.

Technology giant Samsung officially unveiled Galaxy S4 Zoom in June, together with information on the smartphone at the London Premiere event.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen display with 540x960p resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, Samsung TouchWiz feature, 8GB internal storage capacity and a microSD card slot that can expand memory storage up to 64GB.

The selling point on this Galaxy S4 variant is the 16MP camera with 10x optical zoom capability. Additional features and specs include the 1.9MP front-facing camera capable of video call, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), improved Smart Modes and the 24-240mm F3.1-F6-3 lens for capturing images that can be uploaded on social networking sites like Facebook and Instagram.

The reports on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom release date emerged with the anticipated launch of the rival smartphone Nokia Lumia 1020 EOS on July 11 in New York City. The Finnish smart phone manufacturer will be offering the Windows Phone 8 handset with the impressive 41MP camera to challenge other devices in the market competition.
