Nokia Lumia 928 Latest Leaks: Best Low-Light Camera, Store Credit for Purchase & Public Appearance?
Even without any official launches or announcements on the part of Nokia, one of the touted great features for the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 has been revealed by a billboard that dubs the device o have " the best low-light smartphone camera."
In the latest leaks following the rumors from Nokia insiders, TechRadar reports that the device has made a more public appearance, this time in the form of a blog.
Whether the billboard is a fake or a guerilla advertising method to hype up the interest in the device, the claim may actually be pertaining to past speculations of the Nokia Lumia 928 having a 41-megapixel PureView camera, LED, and Xenon flash, reports Gotta Be Mobile.
As such, the camera will allow not just better photos in low-light conditions, but there is also a chance for 2K or a 4K video recording.
Another public appearance, private party-style
And it doesn't stop there, as other footage caught and documented in My Nokia Blog shows the Lumia 928 being used as a camera on tripod for a private party.
According to Ubergizmo, it seemed that the device was being used to record videos of the ongoing event, though for what purpose--as party souvenirs or a potential video to showcase the capabilities of the camera--it's not really clear.
However, if it is trying to showcase a new type of camera technology, the speculation of the PureView camera as part of the Nokia Lumia 928 may not be a rumor after all.
Store credit for purchasing Nokia Lumia 928
Here's another reason for you to buy the Nokia Lumia 928. Among the latest rumors to come out related to the yet-to-be-announced Nokia Windows 9 smartphone is that buyers will get a $25 off from the Windows Phone Store credit once you purchase the phone from Verizon.
Latinos Post reported that this was found via EV Leaks' official Twitter site. "$25 Windows Phone Store credit with purchase of upcoming Nokia Lumia 928 from Verizon," as goes the tweet.
Another basis for the offer came from a Reddit source, which leaked the $99 price, as well as other features and the final look.
All the speculations are bound to end on May 14, once Nokia holds its even in London, England. Latinos Post adds that the event will revolve around the Lumia series, so any announcement on the Nokia Lumia 928 is bound to come up.
