Release of the Nokia Lumia 928 in Verizon appears to be approaching fast after the leaked images and details surfaced on the internet. "ETrade Supply" reportedly got hold of the Nokia Lumia 928's pre-production details showing that the upcoming smart phone will be having an AMOLED screen instead of the IPS LCD screen used in the Nokia Lumia 920.

ETrade Supply claims Nokia will incorporate the Active-Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) technology in the Lumia 928 to increase the smart phone battery size for more power and usage time. The AMOLED panel has a thinner and lighter design compared to the PureMotion HD+ display that made the Nokia Lumia 920 somewhat thick and heavy.

The Nokia Lumia 928 leaked front panel image shows the smart phone is 5mm taller than the Nokia Lumia 920. The Verizon logo is visible as well in the leaked image and it is located above the screen at the top right corner.

Another noticeable difference between the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 920 is the new locations for the speaker, microphone and camera on the smart phone. The Lumia 928 speaker and camera are located at the top of the screen just above the logos while the microphone was transferred below the Windows Phone 8 buttons.

Though Nokia Lumia 928 has a different surface design from the Nokia Lumia 920, the upcoming Nokia smart phone is expected to have the same 4.5-inch display and specifications but with the possible incorporation of the "Xenon" flash feature alongside the standard LED flash. The remarkable camera features can allow the Nokia users to capture better images despite low-lighting conditions.

Nokia Lumia 928 will be equipped with the 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP Carl Zeiss camera and 32GB of internal storage capacity. Some reports suggest that the Nokia Lumia 928 will have a polycarbonate body instead of the aluminum body design.

The latest Lumia smart phone can support the Verizon's "Simultaneous Voice and LTE (SVLTE) and it will be arrtive with the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update as well. Nokia Lumia 928 is expected to arrive soon in Verizon with the design changes and a variety of different colors available aside from the usual black and white.

"The Verge" previously reported that the Nokia the Lumia 928 arrival will happen this April on Verizon Wireless. However, the exact release date still remains a mystery since the telecommunications company has not given any official confirmation or announcement on the matter.
