Nokia Lumia: Camera Extras and Cinemagraph Available on Windows Phone 7.5 and 7.8 Updates [PHOTOS]

Nokia has confirmed through their Conversations Blog that the Nokia Lumia smartphone users with the Windows Phone 7.5 and 7.8 updates can now download and use the newest camera software improvements, the Nokia Camera Extras and Nokia Cinemagraph.

After unveiling the remarkable camera features on the Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones in November 2012, Nokia is now offering the Camera Extras and Cinemagraph to the other Nokia Lumia Windows Phone devices. The Nokia Lumia 900, 800, 710, 610 and 510 smartphones will have the amazing imaging features of the Nokia Cinemagraph and Nokia Camera Extras.

Nokia Cinemagraph allows the Lumia smartphone users to make animated GIF images with the use of the camera. The images created can be shared on the social networking sites such as "Facebook" and "Twitter" through the Web site memories.nokia.com.

Nokia Camera Extras provides numerous imaging features such as Smart Shoot, Panorama, Action Shot and the self-timer action. The Smart Shoot feature uses the "burst mode" where a sequence of photos is captured then the Nokia Lumia users can select a favorite shot and take out the unwanted moving objects or faces from the image.

The Panorama feature combines the several captured pictures to make a bigger panoramic image which is useful to landscaping or wide-image scenes. The Action Shot feature enhances capturing pictures of moving objects while the self-timer can be used to take an image on a short-timed delay.

The latest Nokia Camera Extras is currently available to the Nokia Lumia smartphone users with the Windows Phone 7.5 or 7.8 update. Nokia Cinemagraph is currently available as well on the Nokia Lumia 900, 800 and 710 smartphones, but the feature will arrive for the Nokia Lumia 610 and 510 in the following weeks.
