Manny Pacquiao is headed into a make or break match with Brandon 'Bam Bam' Rios this coming November. Another devastating loss could certainly end the career of the greatest Filipino boxer of all-time, while a victory, especially if it is knockout, will catapult Pacquiao back to the upper echelon of big-time boxers.

In a fight of this magnitude and great importance, the weight of the Filipino hope will be once again put on the broad shoulders of the man they hailed as the People's Champ. However, little did they know that Pacman's opponent has something special on his deck of cards.

Reigning Trainer of the Year Roberto Garcia, who has been in Rios' corner throughout his entire career, revealed that four-division champion Nonito Donaire will be joining Bam Bam's camp in preparation for their upcoming fight against Pacquiao.

Donaire, touted as the heir apparent to Pacquiao, shocked every boxing aficionado in the Philippines with his decision to help Rios.

In a country that considers Pacquiao as a hero, anyone who goes against their man will be the nation's public enemy no.1. Donaire, with all the achievements he brought to the country, has now become the most hated man in the Philippines - a harsh penalty for siding Rios instead of his countryman.

Though it's understandable Donaire is just doing it to help his fellow stablemate, his decision is nevertheless not in the context of the Filipino's "Bayanihan System."

Nonito's intent is certainly questionable and no one knows but himself what message he wants to deliver by siding Pacman's foe. One thing is for sure here, Donaire is now an outcast in the eyes of Filipino boxing fans.
