Demi Lovato's backup singer has revealed recently that the judge from 'X Factor' USA has been getting way too close with a One Direction member, Niall Horan.

It all started with a slip of the tongue over Twitter by Shari Short about the two young singers recently chatting online. The actual tweet says:

'@NiallOfficial it was nice to meet you over Skype with @ddlovato are you going to come to one of our shows in the US this Summer?'

Right after that, the Niall and Demi teamup has become an official trending item all over the world.

The two though were very private with the real score behind their current status. But a slight proof that they are becoming close was apparent when they shared a joke online.

It has always been a usual thing that whoever gets linked with any of the One Direction boys are forced to stay inactive online due since being targeted by the fans of the freshest boy band in town.

During the early parts of this year, the judge of the 'X-Factor' said in an interview that she finds Horan adorable. The One Direction star returned this favor saying in another interview that he finds Lovato beautiful.
