OnePlus 4 leaks claim the Android smartphone runs Snapdragon 830

OnePlus 4 smartphone is the best alternative for OnePlus 3 users planning to upgrade their phone to a newer version. However, the flagship phone is expected to be available in August 2017.

The OnePlus phone is labelled as OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 as the company does not reveal any information about it. According to the leaks from Weibo, the phone will come in two versions in terms of RAM and processor. The phone will sport either 6GB or 8GB of memory and either Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 or Snapdragon 835 processor.

The phone will feature dual lens camera on the back for mixed and augmented reality. It will also feature a 128GB of storage, 4,000 mAh battery, 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display and glass-made body.

Meanwhile, OnePlus will launch on Nov. 15 its latest phone OnePlus 3T. The OnePlus 3T is expected to be an upgrade of OnePlus 3. The newer version runs the Snapdragon 821 chipset (2.35 GHz).

There are additional changes in the OnePlus 3T specs including the Sony IMX398 sensor for camera-related functions and the battery increase capacity to 3300 mAh. It also features LCD screen, 128GB storage, 16MP rear-facing camera and Android 7.0 Nougat. It is expected to sell for US$479 (AU$633).

OnePlus 3T offers promising features showing improvement of the OnePlus 3 phone. However, when compared to OnePlus 4, the newer version is considered top of the line. OnePlus 4 is also expected to beat other smartphone company's flagship phone to be released next year.

OnePlus 4 smartphone will be competing with smartphones brands including BlackBerry, HTC, iPhone, LG, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony Xperia and Xiaomi. Companies are not yet releasing the final schedule for the launch of their flagship phones in 2017.
