Oppo had organized a launch event in Singapore to announce the arrival of Oppo R5 and Oppo N3 smartphones. The Oppo N3 with a thickness of 4.85 mm is being advertised as the world's thinnest smartphone whereas the Oppo N3 has come to replace the older Oppo N1.

The main feature of the Oppo N3 is its camera. Hence, the handset is also referred to as Oppo N3 cameraphone. The device is equipped with a 16 megapixel motorized camera lens from Schneider Kreuznach which has the capability to track moving objects. The dual-LED equipped camera is able to shoot panorama photos of up to 64 megapixel resolution.

According to GSMArena, the size of the sensor is 1/2.3" and the size of the pixel is 1.34 micrometer. The motorized camera of the Oppo N3 can rotate up to 206 degrees automatically. The handset also features a fingerprint sensor at its rear which can be used to lock your snapped photos immediately after shooting them.

The N3 cameraphone is capable of shooting 2160p videos at 30 fps, 1080p videos at 60 fps and it and it can also shoot impressive slow motion videos with 720p clarity at 120 fps. The front-facing camera is of 16 megapixel camera is also equipped with features like autofocus and LED flash.

The Oppo N3 is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen that supports full HD screen with 403 ppi. It is powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC which features Krait 400 quad-core processor which delivers a clocking speed of 2.3 GHz along with Adreno 330 graphics. It also features a 2 GB RAM. The internal storage of Oppo N3 is 32 GB. The microSD card slot supports up to 128 GB of microSD.

The Oppo N3 is housed with a 3000 Li-Po battery that supports fast charging through the VOOC technology, claims GSMArena. It takes only 30 minutes to charge from zero to 75%. The dual SIM Oppo N3 version is expected to roll out in the near feature. It will be come out with an off-contract price of 649 USD and by the end of the year it will be available in 20 regions all over the world.
