With Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL are about to hit stores in Australia, Optus has come up with an exclusive offer that made us sit up and take notice.

Both phones are scheduled to arrive at stores in Australia early December and they’re listed as top-end premium phones with a difference, given they’re not iOS or Android but run Windows 10.

Microsoft partnered with Optus to offer the first 300 customers to pre-order a new Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 along with an Xbox One 1TB EA Sports FIFA 16 Bundle, which is valued at $499.

And it doesn’t end here. Optus also offers bonus data of 2 GB for the life of your plan. According to Techly, the offer is still going on and only a few are left to give away.

The 5.2-inch Lumia 950 is a device with 1440 x 2560 resolutions; 3GB of RAM and is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor. The Lumia 950 XL, as the name suggests, has a 5.7-inch display and a huge 3340mAh replaceable battery.

Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL run on Windows 10 and feature the intriguing Continuum feature.

Microsoft has done a lot of improvements on the phone and we really expect to get hands-on for you before Christmas. The Microsoft 950XLis available at $1,129 from the Microsoft Store and users can expect shipment by December 8.

On the other hand, the Lumia 950 costs $999 but shipment won’t be available till December 18, according to the Microsoft store.

The initial reviews about both phones are mixed. Most point out the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL both have great screen and quality cameras, but state it’s expensive and Windows 10 needs improving.
