Search engine giant Google finally unveiled the latest 4.3 version of Android Jelly Bean OS and the original Nexus 7 tablet is among the first devices to receive the update.

There is very little change when it comes to the interface of 4.3 Jelly Bean, most of the upgrades are under the hood. Thus, users can expect faster, better and smoother performance on the latest version of the OS.

The Over-The-Air update is bound to arrive on devices. However, impatient users who are curious on the perks that this latest Google mobile software packed for you, you can still download and install the 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

First, you must download the official 4.3 Jelly Bean update on your Nexus 7 tablet. You have to choose the specific version of Nexus 7 you own. Then, update the checksums to install the update with our toolkit.

Then, download and install the Wugs Nexus 7 Toolkit. Install the toolkit by clicking "Next" through the various prompts. Once the installation is complete, go ahead and run the toolkit.

Choose your device type from the list along with its OS version (4.2.2) and click "Apply" on the pop-up window that will appear. Follow the guide in the toolkit to install all of the drivers needed for Nexus 7.

Then, connect your Nexus 7 tablet on the computer after you boot into fastboot mode by powering off your Nexus 7, then press and hold both the power and volume down buttons.

On your PC, click "Flash Stock + Unroot" in the toolkit. Choose "Other/Browse" and click the option for "I downloaded a factory image..." A prompt will ask you for the checksum, so be sure to copy and paste the checksum it asks for.

You are good to go. However, make sure that you have a stable internet connection as well as full battery when installing the 4.3 Jelly Bean OS due to the long process.

The 4.3 Jelly Bean OS comes with the next generation of Nexus 7 that includes support on 4G/LTE connectivity, which was lacking from the original Nexus 7.
