The fans are not the only ones excited with "Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev crossing over to "The Originals" Season 2. Actor Joseph Morgan, who portrays Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson, recently revealed in an interview that he is also excited and grateful to Nina's guest appearance as Original Petrova doppelganger Tatia in episode 5 titled "Red Door."

For Joseph Morgan, Nina Dobrev's crossover means another opportunity for him to work again with the TVD actress and for Tatia's story to be told in "The Originals" Season 2. In an exclusive E!Online TV Scoop report, British actor Joseph Morgan, 33, admitted that the cast members and crew of "The Originals' are really grateful to Nina's crossover because it will allow the show to finally tell the story of the Original doppelganger.

Joseph Morgan teased that the fans are going to find out what really happened to Tatia's story that initially got told in "The Vampire Diaries." Furthermore, Tatia's appearance in "The Originals" Season 2 will give more insight to the Original doppelganger's relationship with Klaus and Elijah (Daniel Gillies).

The actor explained that the fans will see how Klaus and Elijah's love for one woman changes the Mikaelson family and how everything else played out in "The Originals" storyline. Morgan further teased that the story on Tatia had a really huge impact on who Klaus and Elijah are at present time as well as the Mikaelson family in general.

Joseph Morgan revealed that Klaus and Elijah both were interested and invested in Tatia because they loved her. Meanwhile, The Wrap report revealed which TVD character executive producer Julie Plec wants to be in the CW spinoff series.

"Who would I give [to 'The Originals']? Um, I would probably give them Stefan [played by Paul Wesley]," Plec stated. The executive producer explained in the interview that she just really likes the relationship between Klaus and Stefan and the two characters can go on a little romp together.

Another character that the executive producer would want to swap is Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt). A WetPaint report pointed out that the cast member swap will definitely change the dynamics of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals."

The fans can currently look forward to Nina Dobrev's crossover to "The Originals" following Tyler's (Michael Trevino) crossover in "The Originals" Season 1. A released promo video for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 5 titled "Red Door" teased that Nina's character, Tatia, will appear through flashback scenes as Esther (Sonja Sohn) forces Elijah to remember his past in order to purify him.

Nina Dobrev's guest appearance as Original doppelganger Tatia in "The Originals" Season 2 is scheduled to air on Monday night, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
