Fans who attended the 2014 Comic-Con panel were given a preview of the second season of the CW spinoff series "The Originals" through the released trailer. "The Originals" Season 2 trailer teased the storyline on the Guerrera werewolves, the Mikaelson family reunion, Hayley as a hybrid and the appearances of Claire Holt as Rebekah, Nathaniel Buzolic as Kol and Daniel Sharman as Caleb.

Executive producer Michael Narducci teased in The Hollwood Reporter that "The Originals" Season 2 will be focusing on the Mikaelson family members and the sins committed in the past that will come to haunt in the present time following the "gangster takedown" of the French Quarter in Season 1. The dark and intense "The Originals" Season 2 trailer begins with Rebekah telling the story of what happened in the Season 1 finale in a fairy tale tone to her niece, Hope Mikaelson.

The fans can see Elijah (Daniel Gillies) in the trailer expressing his concern with Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) behaviour to Original hybrid Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Meanwhile, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will be restoring his vampire community and Elijah will allow it if Marcel helps in finding the white oak stake that can kill an Original.

The Season 1 finale brought back vampire hunter Mikael (Sebastian Roché) and Original witch Esther (Alice Evans) and the Mikaelson siblings finds out about it. The trailer showed Elijah having an encounter with Mikael and Klaus figuring out that their mother is in the body of a witch named Cassie (Natalie Dreyfuss).

Another Mikaelson family member was teased in the Season 2 trailer. It is none other than Kol Mikaelson (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Esther has the body. According to the Entertainment Weekly report, executive producer Julie Plec has discussed about a family reunion happening after the Season 1 finale was aired.

As for Davina (Danielle Campbell), she wants to unlink first the sire of the vampires to Klaus before she unleashes Mikael Mikaelson who is set to kill the Original hybrid. The trailer also included the introduction of "Teen Wolf" star Daniel Sharman as the series' new character Caleb.

The ending of the trailer revealed that Elijah and Klaus are fully aware of their parents' return making the Original hybrid ask the question "Which of our parents do we kill first?" Have a look at the Comic-Con trailer for "The Originals" Season 2 below.

"The Originals" is scheduled to return with Season 2 on Monday night, Oct 6, at 8 pm ET on the CW Network.
