OnePlus launched OxygenOS 2.1.1 over-the-air (OTA) but the update will reach devices incrementally. The announcement surfaced on official company forums that further detailed improvements, fixes and additional OS features.
People residing in countries or places having the OTA facility are the ones that can only receive Oxygen OS. As stated in the OS changelog, there will be newer improvements to camera’s UX. There will be other changes but details haven’t been revealed.
OnePlus users can ensure quick and easy app installation in the OxygenOs without issues. Some of the other delights include support for international languages like Russian and Turkish, customized icons and ample scope to use different wallpapers for lockscreens.
Rest assured the new OS will bring plenty of bug fixes and performance enhancers to perk up its stability so users can swiftly navigate through pages without deterrent.
The software is designed with intricate security features so as to secure user privacy. What’s more, the OS allows a user to mend images in the RAW format retrieved through any third party camera app, as reported by Tech Times.
Besides, the app will be updated in its RAW format for FV-5 2.79.5 version in OnePlus 2 devices when the update arrives. The newest version of Oxygen OS 2.1.2 is likely to appeal to a lot of OnePlus fans that will now have access to more improvements than before.
Last month, OnePlus X was announced at US$249 (AU$347). You have two options to choose from, ceramic and onyx, and both are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 and 3 GB of RAM.
