Cast member Sam Heughan teased some details about “Outlander” Season 3 in a recent interview. Meanwhile, a new report has compiled character descriptions of all the new characters on the show this time.
In an interview with People, Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) said that the new season will span over 20 years. The actor revealed that the show will take the viewers to Scotland, Jamaica, England and finally reach North Carolina. He described the plot as “a real adventure.”
Heughan teased that he filmed a few scenes that the crew were apparently not aware of. So, there are going to be some “surprises and really dramatic, epic scenes” in the next season. The actor did not elaborate on what exactly these scenes were and who were involved.
Filming of the first block of the next season has already been completed. Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) are expected to spend the first few episodes apart in “Outlander” Season 3, so the scenes that Heughan is talking about may not be the reunion of the two characters, which is one of the most highly anticipated moments this time around.
