'Outlander' Season 3: Picture of another door teased
Co-executive Producer Matthew B. Roberts has teased another behind-the-scenes picture from the production set of “Outlander” Season 3. This time it is a picture of just a door. The producer doesn’t tease too much information about what is being filmed, but sometimes posts interesting pictures for the fans to help them through Droughtlander.
Although the picture of the door doesn’t reveal anything substantial, the fans did welcome the tease. Commenting on the picture, one of the fans wondered what the door would say if it could talk. Another fan suggested a picture of the print shop door be shared soon.
In the past, Roberts has shared pictures of the stunning landscape of Scotland, and interesting things he came across while scouting for locations for the popular TV series. Apart from the scenic beauty of the country, he has also teased interesting building structures and the architecture that the fans may get to see next year.
The Starz TV series has won high praise for the attention to detail in not only the costumes but also the sets. That tradition is expected to continue in “Outlander” Season 3. Roberts has also shared a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the production set, when the cast and crew were taking breaks from filming. He, however, has not shared pictures of the main cast members filming because that may be seen as spoiling the plot points of the next season.
So far, the only official pictures from the next season released online are on Entertainment Weekly. The pictures tease the Battle of Culloden that will see the big faceoff between Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies).
Filming of the first four episodes of “Outlander” Season 3 has already been completed. The production team is now working on the next Block, which consists of two episodes.
