'Outlander' Season 3: Ronald Moore and Sam Heughan tease behind the scenes videos
Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore and cast member Sam Heughan have teased behind the scene videos from the production set of “Outlander” Season 3. Filming started for the Starz TV series some time back, and the videos released online are from the first day on the set.
Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) was all dressed and ready to film his scenes in the behind the scenes video. Some of the other cast and crew members can be seen in the background.
“Happy Season 3 day. Let’s go fight,” Heughan said and unsheathed his sword.

Moore also released a similar video online. It is from the same location from where Heughan made his video. The producer welcomed all the fans back on the set to witness the start of filming of the next season.

The cast and crew were filming scenes of the Battle of Culloden. There was some smoke in the video Heughan released online, and it appears that the fans will get to see some action sequence from this battle in “Outlander” Season 3.
The Battle of Culloden started towards the end of the previous season. However, the fans did not get to see any actual fighting, as Jamie had to rush away from the battlefield with Claire (Caitriona Balfe). He had said that he would return and fight with his fellow Highlanders in a battle he knew was doomed to fail.
The next season is expected to begin with Claire in the future, trying to decide whether or not to back in time and reunite with her husband. She has had a difficult relationship with her daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton), and will have to choose between reconnecting with her or go back in time.
Brianna and Roger’s (Richard Rankin) storyline is expected to grow in “Outlander” Season 3, after their introduction in the previous season. The plot this time is mainly based on Diana Galabdon’s book “Voyager.”
