Starz has announced a sweepstakes for “Outlander” fans with a grand prize of a trip to Scotland for two. 10 runner-ups will receive the DVD set and soundtrack of the second season, Jamie and Claire Funko set and “The Making of Outlander The Book Series.”

The announcement was made on the official Outlander Store. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. There is a limit of one entry per person per week. The entries will close by Dec. 1. The contest is open only for US residents who are 21 years or older.

The winners of the grand prize will get to tour the historical settings of the TV series in Scotland. The fans may also get to see some of the locations where the scenes for the popular TV series were filmed. It is not clear if the fans will get to see any of the filming that is currently ongoing.

Filming of “Outlander” Season 3 is proceeding in full swing in Scotland at the moment. The filming of the first block, consisting of two episodes, has already been completed.

Co-executive Producer Anne Kenney has revealed that the cast and crew will be done with the filming in Scotland by April. Kenney also shared a picture of the team travelling to the filming location for what was the last day of the filming of the next block.

One cast member who has been confirmed to be a part of the shoot was Romann Berrux (Fergus). Kenny appreciated the young actor’s performance in a tweet.

“Outlander” Season 3 is set to premiere sometime in 2017. The producers are yet to announce the exact release date. The new season is based on Diana Gabaldon’s book “Voyager.” As the name suggests; the main characters will go on a journey to the Caribbean this time around and meet a new set of characters.
