With news of OUYA's first game now out in the OUYA store, the gaming console is making waves with new updates for its upcoming release this June.

For the meantime, CEO Julie Uhrman has teased the public about the company's plans on releasing a $99 new OUYA console every year, reports Techland.

"There will be a new OUYA every year. There will be an OUYA 2 and an OUYA 3. We'll take advantage of faster, better processors, take advantage of prices falling. So if we can get more than 8GB of Flash in our inbox, we will," said Uhrman in a statement to Techland.

For those who are looking to buy an OUYA when it comes out this June don't have to worry. According to End Gadget, the games that will be available in later OUYA models will be backward compatible. How will this happen? Uhrman said that the games are not bogged down by its licenses but more tied to the gamer.

This is not all that OUYA has in store, because it has also just rolled out its game approval process, which would begin soon. Cinemablend reports that the process is comparable to what is being done in mobile, where the games will be submitted and subject to review, particularly for "intellectual property infringement, malware, and excessive pornography."

Perhaps it's probably because of the newness of the OUYA campaign, because the review seems to be a fairly quick and lenient process compared to the more established gaming companies.

As far as the expected games for the OUYA is concerned, TechCruch gives a list of confirmed games for its users. Titles such as Double Fine Adventure from Tim Schafer's studio and The Cave from Double Fine Studios will be making their appearance on the console.

Uhrman also talked about partnerships, including Paul Bettner, creator of Words with Friends, who is reportedly set on coming up with titles for OUYA.

While it's not a groundbreaking development on gaming, the steady partnerships and investment in titles seem to be a good way for OUYA to tap into its market as a gaming console interested in making quality titles.
