Apple brags of selling more than one million iPads in approximately 28 days since being introduced on the 3rd of April. Contrasting to that, iPhone took almost three months to hit the one million sales markets after being launched.

Most of the iPads sold include the Wi-Fi version and very small percentage includes the 3G version since the last was made available a few days back.

Apple's iPad had always been in continuous buzz even before it was launched. iPad's difference in terms of size and hardware has not affected its sale. Plus, more than 12 million applications have been downloaded from the App Store whereas 1.5 million eBooks have been sold by the iBook Store.

Apple updated the Section 3.3.1 in the iPhone Developer Program License Agreement last month. It compels the developers to stop using third party cross platform tools over the iPhone OS SDK to develop applications or Apple may have to face inquiries from the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice for making its platform anti-competitive.

On the other hand, it is pretty obvious that Adobe has lost interest in Apple's platform and is currently concentrating more on the Android platform from Google. Apple claims to adopt more open technologies for its iPhone OS platform. As an alternative, Apple is going for HTML5 standard with video support in the Safari browser.
