First time dad, Marley and Me actor, Owen Wilson gushed over his son, Robert Ford Wilson when he appeared in Tuesday’s "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". This is the first time for Wilson to talk about his first child with girlfriend, Jade Duell.

Baby Robert was born on January 14 in a hospital in Hawaii, four days after the actor and his girlfriend made an official announcement that they were expecting a baby.

The Hunting star could not hide his excitement over his new experience.

According to UsMagazine, Wilson said the star baby is a "very cute little boy and he's doing well," adding, "It's very exciting!"

The actor then shared his experience as a new dad which he said is a confirmation of what they say about having a new baby.

"What they say about newborns and not getting a lot of sleep, that's true," Wilson was quoted by UsMagazine as telling Jay Leno.

He added, "You look at every place as a potential nap place. I'm looking at this couch, maybe at commercial break, [I'll take a] little shut-eye there!"

Named Robert Ford Wilson, his son, the actor suspected would most likely prefer to be called as “Ford”.
