A self-confessed big fan of the British Royal family, 30-year-old Paris Hilton has been dying to get a formal invitation from the British Royal Family in hopes to attend the most anticipated Royal Wedding at Westminster Abbey in April.

Quoting an insider as telling Daily Star newspaper, Exposay.com said that the 30-year-old socialite has been working round the clock ‘bombarding her contacts’ in the hope that she could be included in the list who are attending the Royal nuptial.

"Paris is a massive fan of the royals and counts Princess Diana among her idols, so she's desperate to be seen at the wedding. She knows it will be an event not to be missed,” an unnamed source was quoted as telling Daily Star newspaper.

The source attested said Exposay.com, ""She's been speaking to all her contacts in the hope of getting an invite, but so far she hasn't had any luck."

The socialite has admitted in an interview that she has a big crush on Prince William after meeting him in an exclusive London nightspot Whisky Mist in 2008.

The actress who is now dating nightclub mogul, Cy Waits, was quoted saying three years ago: "I'd be more than happy to date William so long as he ditches the mousy girlfriend.”

The reality TV star added, "I couldn't believe it when I met him. He was awesome and really hot."
