It's an in thing for celebrities to upload their selfies on Twitter or Instagram from their cell phone. Lindsay Lohan, Rihanna, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber all love to use their phone's camera to click amazing self-portraits (called selfies) and post them on social media.

But have you ever wondered what kind of cell phone your favourite artists use that let them post selfies on Twitter/Instagram - unedited? One thing is for sure that their phones must be equipped with a good mega pixel camera as we hardly see any celeb picture gone wrong.

One look at Rihanna's selfies, the ones that she clicks using the front camera of her phone (most likely a Blackberry), makes you feel she doesn't need a studio photographer at all.

Lindsay Lohan also posted a wonderful picture of herself on Instagram last week which shows a mirror image of her being clicked using her iPhone.

Kim Kardashian has reportedly shifted to using iPhone now after being spotted with Blackberry the last year. Other lovers of iPhone include Halle Berry (former Blackberry user); Justin Bieber; Kanye West; Pink; Vanessa Hudgens and Super Model Oksana Lysenko, according to Web site thebluedot.com

Other celebrities who have shifted to iPhone include Jessica Alba (former Blackberry user) and Lindsay Lohan. Is iPhone considered a bigger brand than Blackberry or is it the love for a sleek, sexy phone that pulls celebs towards iPhone more than Blackberry?

Kate Hudson, Selena Gomez, Victoria Beckham, Lenny Kravitz, Denise Richards, Ashley Tisdale, Sharon Stone and Miley Cyrus also love the iPhone.

There is another group of celebrities who love their Blackberry and are loyal enough to stick to it. The Blackberry loyal list includes Eva Longoria, Leonardo DiCaprio, Courtney Cox, Reese Witherspoon, Serena Williams and Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor (who is reportedly paid to use it as he is the brand ambassador of Blackberry India).

Demi Moore too was also spotted with her Blackberry when she posted a picture of her admiring her bikini clad body in the mirror during her days of romance with Ashton Kutcher.

Queen of pop Lady Gaga was spotted with Blackberry in many pictures but keeping in mind how frequently Gaga changes her clothes, it will not be a surprise if we see her with iPhone soon.

Another surprising element that came into picture was that there were hardly any takers for Samasung smart phones. The only celebs spotted with Samsung's new series are LeBron James and tennis player David Ferrer.
