In preparation for its summer release--or perhaps to bring back the hype that the original game held--Facebook will be getting the Plants vs. Zombies Adventures starting May 20.

The game's beta version has been opened to the public last May 7, with a special 200-slot call for those who want to try it out.

Game Informer reports that this game, while not the sequel for its predecessor, will feature new plants, characters, and strategies. In the official Facebook page, there's the Aspearagus plant as well as the Barrel Zombie.

If this is among the new things gamers can look forward to, then PopCap's really gearing up for the sequel release.

Among the Sleep goes alpha

Get ready to turn back time and be in the shoes of a two-year-old faced with his biggest fears in Krillbite Studio's first-person horror game, Among the Sleep.

Starting tomorrow, 2 p.m. EST, EuroGamer reports that the alpha version of the game will be available via the Kickstarter page, in the hopes of getting more funds to reach its goal.

As of now, Among the Sleep has garnered $185,000, just a few bucks shy of its $200,000 goal. If it meets the last push in the next four days, then Among the Sleep will be heading to the PC, Mac, and Linux this December.

Witcher 2 mod tools launched

Last week, there was an accidental leak/release of Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings modding tools, dubbed as the Redkit.

This week, developer CD Projekt Red has officially launched an open beta, which will require you the PC version of The Witcher 2 that has been patched up to version 3.3, reports GameSpot.

The developer is currently working on the process to bring the sizes of the files down to smaller ones, as well as developing a patch for un-synched dialogues in the game.
