Players of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" have another reason to take advantage of the holiday break to get into gear and play to their hearts' content. In the latest update from developer Sledgehammer Games, the tittle will be getting a holiday surprise.

The surprise will come in the form of a week-long giveaway of the KVA Paramilitary Character Gear Set. "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" players have until Dec 26, day after Christmas, to make sure that they get the KVA Paramilitary Helmet, which is an exclusive reward for playing.

This gear will complete the look for the KVA Paramilitary Character Gear Set, as the rest of the items for the gear is already available via the 1,000+ loot items that will be made available via Supply Drops. For those who may have missed out on the announcement, there's now a Supply Drop Daily Challenge for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" players on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

You'll be getting a randomized message with the challenge, which, upon completion, allows your character to get XP bonus and Supply Drops. Part of the Supply Drops is the chance to get, collect and complete the Exclusive KVA Recon Character Gear Set. So make sure you play "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" as there are still two days to get the exclusive helmet. Check out the KVA Recon Paramilitary Gear Set as seen in the video below.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" has been making some news over the holiday season. Apart from taking center stage for the PlayStation Network's 12 Deals of Christmas, where a couple of editions have made the title available for the PS4 and PS3 at discounted prices, the title has also been hitting it big in the U.K.

According to Eurogamer, publisher Activision has been promoting the title on the PS4, which boosted a rise of 33% in sales. Not only that, Christmas 2014 will be seeing "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" at the top of the charts, overtaking the likes of "GTA 5," "FIFA 15," "Far Cry 4" and "Assassin's Creed Unity," which take up the other slots for the top five games.
