Attention Pokemon fans, especially "Pokemon X and Y" players! The wait is finally over because the Pokemon Bank is now available for download in North America through the Nintendo 3DS eShop! Make sure to download it before Friday, March 14, 2014 to get the 30-Day No-Charge trial period. If you download it after March 14, 2014, then you will have to pay the $4.99 annual fee to access it including the Poke Transfer app.

Nintendo of America first announced the arrival of the Pokemon Bank in Asia in Jan. 2014.

Then, came the news of its availability in Europe in Feb. 2014.

It was all announced in the official Pokemon and Nintendo Twitter accounts.

Twitter user Chunky Droid also tweeted on his Twitter account that the Pokemon Bank is not just available for download in Europe, but also in Australia as well!

The launch of Pokemon Bank in North America hasn't been officially announced in Pokemon and Nintendo's social media accounts as of this writing. But, upon checking the official Nintendo 3DS eShop, it shows that the Pokemon Bank can now be downloaded there and the release date is indicated as Feb. 5, 2014.

Aside from being able to download the Pokemon Bank in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia, this also means that "Pokemon X and Y" players can now download the free Celebi Pokemon too! Just make sure to try out the Pokemon Bank as soon as you can because according to Serebii.net this Celebi event offer will run only until Sept. 30, 2014.

Serebii.net also reported that the Pokemon Bank is automatically at Version 1.1.

Now that the Pokemon Bank is finally available for download in North America through the Nintendo 3DS eShop, "Pokemon X and Y" players can enjoy the online cloud storage service offered by Pokemon which allows them to store up to 3,000 Pokémon within 100 boxes on the Internet. Plus, it has the Poke Transporter app that can transfer old Pokemon from Generation V Pokemon games ("Pokemon Black," "Pokemon White," "Pokemon Black 2" and "Pokemon White 2") to the Generation VI ("Pokemon X and Y") video games.
