August is quite an eventful month for the Pokemon franchise. Apart from the awaited CoroCoro magazine reveals for the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," there are two new Pokemons coming to "Pokemon X and Y."

Over at the official Pokemon website, Nintendo and Game Freak announced that Heracross and Pinsir will be coming to the "Pokemon X and Y" respectively.

While the two Pokemons will not come with held items, they will already have their levels boosted to Lv. 50 and be armed with powerful moves ready for battle.

From August 18 to 31, all participating GameStop braches will give away Mega Stones for the POkemons to hold. This comes three days after the Nintendo Network distribution for "Pokemon X and Y's" Pinsir and Heracross.

Make sure to get the right Mega Stone for your new Pokemon--Heracross comes to the "Pokemon X" and requires the Heracronite, while Pinsir is coming to "Pokemon Y" and needs the Pinsirite.

Also, Nintendo has announced that fans who still haven't preordered a copy of "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" can do so during this timeframe, as the preorder comes with a special poster as a bonus.

To get your Heracross or Pinsir distributions for "Pokemon X and Y," all you need to do is go online to the Nintendo 3DS family. Select Mystery Gift from the main menu the click on "Receive Gift" and "Yes."

Click on "Get Via Internet" and "Yes." Afterwards, the corresponding Pokemon will be downloaded to your respective game. Nintendo also advises that you speak with the delivery girl of a Pokemon Center to add either Heracross or Pinsir to your party.

Serebii adds that those who are in Canada or Latin America, you need your Pokemon Trainer Club location listed as well as be a part of the official newsletter. This will allow you to get the Mega Stone serial codes via the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter.

Gym Leader Roundup: Flannery and

Closing this round of Gym Leader introductions for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," are Flannery and Norman.

Flannery, with her red hair and spunky attitude is a Fire-type Pokemon user. According to the official "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" website, she is a new leader and is trying her best to get her reputation across. Once you defeat her, you can get the Heat Badge, which level up your Pokemon to 50 and be able to move heavy boulders for Pokemons that know the HM moves strength.

There's also Gym Leader Norman, who shares a history with your father and Professor Birch, as he is their best friend in school. He makes use of the Normal-type Pokemon, with Slaking being his main Pokemon.

This Pokemon, taking its cue from its name, is all about resting and being lazy, though it hides a surprisingly strong power behind that lazing figure.
