'Pokemon X and Y' Mega Evolution Update: How to Power Up the Mega Ring [WATCH VIDEO]

The "Pokemon X and Y" Mega Evolution would not be complete without the Mega Ring. It is a powerful item from the "Pokemon X and Y" universe that allows a player's Pokemon to Mega Evolve during battle, provided that they are carrying Mega Stones at that time. For "Pokemon X and Y" fans out there, here's a Mega Evolution update on how to power up the Mega Ring.

First, you need to go to the Battle Maison in Kiloude City to fight with either Calem or Serena.

In order to go to Battle Maison, you need to enter the Hall of Fame where you will battle your character's rival, either Calem or Serena depending on the gender of the character you are using in the game.

If you are playing "Pokemon X and Y" using a female character, then you will battle with Calem. But, if you are playing the videogame using a male character, you will face off with Serena.

After defeating Serena or Calem, the victorious "Pokemon X and Y" player has to go to Anistar City to talk to Professor Sycamore about Mega Stones and how to power up the Mega Ring. The professor can be found by the sundial. He will talk a bit about the Mega Stones and then ask the "Pokemon X and Y" player to touch the sundial.

"You were exposed to the Legendary Pokemon's energy in Team Flare's secret HQ. And the Mega Ring has absorbed the power of the sundial. These two powers have combined to upgrade your Mega Ring," said Professor Sycamore in the "Pokemon X and Y" video uploaded by TEAMBOOSTERBREAK in YouTube.

"Now, it will react to underground Mega Stones but only when the sundial is emitting light," added Professor Sycamore.

"Pokemon X and Y" players must keep in mind that the Mega Ring will only work if it has a Key Stone.

Once the Mega Ring has been upgraded or powered up, the "Pokemon X and Y" player can now find the hidden Mega Stones around the Kalos region from 20:00 and 21:00 or 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

According to TEAMBOOSTERBREAK, "Pokemon X and Y" players must make sure that their Nintendo 3DS is set to the correct 24-hour time and not the usual 12-hour time. It should read 20:00 instead of 8:00 PM.
