'Pokemon X and Y' News: Global Link Battle Competition Updates, Pokemons with No Shinies and a New Legendary Values Tier Guide
The Battle Competition for "Pokemon X and "Y has been revealed, wherein the Test Competition will run from Feb 21 to 24. There's already a cap for the number of entries allowed, since those who have participated in the 2013 Global Showdown for "Black 2" and "White 2" are already considered for the tournament.
But Serebii reports that 10,000 entries will be allowed to register come Jan 31. VG 24/7 adds that this will be the first competition to allow Kalos region Pokemon.

In addition to this, there has been a conversion ongoing for the Generation V Dream World aspects to the "Pokemon X and Y" Global Link. Apparently, these conversions will result in Dream Points, which, in turn, have been given their equal value on PokeMiles. A short chart list from Serebii details this:
- 10,000 to 49,999 Dream Points = 500 PokeMiles
- 50,000 to 99,999 Dream Points = 3,000 PokeMil
- 100,000 to 199,999 Dream Points = 10,000 PokeMiles
- 200,000+ Dream Points = 25,000 PokeMiles
A Quick List of Pokemons That Can't be Shinies
For those who are collecting shinies, here's a quick update from Serebii, which makes mention of the different Pokemons that can't become Shinies in "Pokemon X and Y."
According to the report, these include Celebi, Jirachi, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Keldeo, Meloetta, Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde, so there currently isn't any Shiny images of these Pokemons, even over at Serebii's database.

Legendary Values Tier Guide
Another project over at Reddit has appeared, this time detailing the values of the different Pokemon over at Global Trade Station.
"This is a simple infographic of the Pokemon XY Legendary values tier for the Global Trade Station. There has been some questions of the values of the current legendaries as players are trying to finish their dex or chain trading to complete it. It is not a definitive guide as you can get lucky in trading at the right time!," writes MistaWhiska.
The creator of the guide also mentions that players cannot trade special Pokemons with ribbons via the GTS, which include Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Keldeo, Victini, Deoxys, Meloetta and Genesect.
